I want to first thank you for sticking up with me all these years, through my ups and downs. And what an exciting journey we have had behind us!
These books sum it up: all seven years of passion, excitement, love, adventures and just a little bit of stress. I haven’t yet slowed down with my ambition to push the boundaries of this sport, so I haven’t yet had a chance to process all that has happened… but you, you did it for me!
Together with my team, you’ve created this set of books that are a beautiful collection of memories we had through those intense 7 years of me ending as the best tennis player in the world.
It makes me extremely proud and grateful to see how much effort, love, and passion you’ve put into making it, but even more so, to see that the proceeds from the sale of these books will support and fund the work of the Novak Djokovic Foundation. For the past 15 years, together with my wife, we’ve been investing in early childhood development, opened 55 preschools, and reached over 50.000 children in Serbia. Of course, there is still so much work to be done but I want to thank you for joining me on this journey too and for making these numbers count.
Everything we do is a team effort. Tennis might be an individual sport, but I was never alone on this journey. Through ups and downs, I had my family, my team and, you – my loyal #Nolefam cheering me on. Wherever I am around the world, I have my global family with me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that!
This book is for all of us. The testament of our journey, love, and persistence.
